About us
Ancient Jyotish is a group of Vedic astrologers based in Baduria, West Bengal. We make kundli reports that answer your real question in simple words, at one fixed price, with a call from an astrologer who has read your chart.
Why we started
Most people we knew had tried astrology at least once. And most of them came away with the same three problems.
The local astrologer talked about doshas until they were frightened, and then offered an expensive puja to fix it. The phone apps charged by the minute, so every question felt like money slipping away. The free online kundlis gave them 50 pages of tables and Sanskrit words, and nobody explained what any of it meant for their life.
We wanted something better for our own families. A report that starts with your question. A real person who reads your chart and talks to you. A price you know before you pay. And no fear, ever.
What we believe
Every report opens with the answer to the question you asked us. The detailed chart comes after.
A dosha is a pattern in a chart, not a curse. We explain it plainly and tell you what it does and does not mean.
We start with what costs nothing: a mantra, a daily habit, charity, a change in routine. If a paid remedy is ever mentioned, it is optional and never a condition.
₹399 is ₹399. No meter, no hidden extras, no “special puja” added at the end.
Our method
We follow Parashari Jyotish, the classical system set out in the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. Our astrologers also draw on other well-known classical works such as Varahamihira’s Brihat Jataka and Mantreshwara’s Phaladeepika.
Where we are
We work from Baduria, in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Bengal has a long tradition of family astrology, where the kusthi is made at birth and kept for life. We bring that same care to every report, and we serve families across India and abroad in English, Hindi and Bengali.
